Accessible and Inclusive Activities

In House:

  • Bubble Workshops: Our bubble sessions create a fun and calming environment for all ages, using bubbles to engage the senses in a gentle and soothing way.

  • Crafts: We offer a variety of crafting activities tailored to different age groups, including sensory-rich materials like tactile art, and collaborative group projects. These activities provide a therapeutic outlet for creativity and self-expression.

  • Smash Therapy: For those needing a more active and cathartic experience, our smash therapy stalls provide a safe space to release stress by smashing objects in a controlled environment. This activity is particularly beneficial for attendees who might need a physical outlet to manage their emotions.

  • Hair Braiding: Hair braiding allows attendees to enjoy festival-themed hair designs in a relaxed and inclusive setting, adding to the festival experience while catering to sensory needs.

  • DJ Workshops: We run interactive DJ workshops where participants can learn the basics of mixing and music production. These sessions are inclusive and designed to be accessible to everyone, offering a hands-on, engaging experience.

  • Customised Experiences: We can tailor our activities to suit the specific needs and interests of your audience, ensuring that everyone has something to enjoy.

Collaborations:

  • Accessible Street Art: Our connection with the street art team, who are dedicated to making creativity accessible to everyone, is difficult to describe. The way they offer inclusive workshops where participants of all abilities can express themselves through art is unparalleled. With adaptive tools and techniques, they ensure that everyone, regardless of physical limitations, can participate fully in creating vibrant, community-driven artwork.

  • Accessible Climbing Wall: We are incredibly proud to work with The Outdoor Education Company, who bring the thrill of climbing to everyone. Designed with adaptive equipment and professional support, this climbing experience is safe and exhilarating for individuals of all abilities. Whether it’s your first climb or you’re a seasoned climber, the accessible climbing wall offers a challenging and rewarding experience in a supportive environment. They are incredibly knowledgable and experienced, with one of their instructors, John, being deaf blind himself.

  • Sign Language Interpreters: We collaborate with energetic and engaging sign language interpreters who bring fun and accessibility to our events. They help make sure that everyone, including those who are deaf or hard of hearing, can enjoy the full experience. Their presence adds an inclusive and lively element to our events, making communication accessible for all.
